Introduction to Shamanic Journeying: A Beginner class in Core Shamanism

Shamanic journey is a practice found in many traditions around the world. In this class, the work is taught through the framework of Core Shamanism, a method that focuses on universal practices found across cultures while approaching the work with respect and integrity.

Journeying is a way to enter a light trance state, usually with the rhythm of the drum, to connect to the compassionate, helping spirits for guidance and insight.

In this beginner class, you will learn the basic foundations of how to journey in a respectful and grounded way. My intention is to create a safe and supportive space where you can begin exploring this work for yourself.

We will talk about what journeying is, how the practice works, and the importance of approaching it with curiosity, humility, and discernment.
